Bricks Builder lifetime deal

Theme · Direct · 5.8 yrs live · by Bricks

Bricks Builder sells an Ultimate Lifetime plan: pay once, use it on unlimited WordPress websites, and receive future updates and support with no renewal. The question this page answers isn't what Bricks does, it's whether that lifetime promise is still being kept years after people paid. Right now the register holds no verified report on Bricks either way, so its honoring status is open; nobody has yet documented here, with receipts, whether a lifetime license still activates, still pulls updates and still gets support. If you hold one, confirm it still works or report a breakage. The seal stays unearned until a verified confirmation lands, a single verified, unrebutted breakage would keep it off automatically, and no affiliate link shows on this page while the deal is unverified. No marketing page or AI tool answers the honoring question, only a buyer.

What it is

Bricks (Bricks Builder) is a visual site builder for WordPress that ships as a theme rather than a plugin. Released in 2021, it lets you edit templates, headers, footers, archive and single pages, and every other part of a self-hosted WordPress site visually on the front end, in a drag-and-drop editor that renders the page as you build it. Bricks markets itself on speed and clean code output, and its feature set is aimed at people building websites for a living: a visual query loop builder (with custom PHP queries when needed), dynamic data tags for dynamic content from custom fields such as ACF and custom post types, conditions and interactions, a menu builder, responsive editing with custom breakpoints, a WooCommerce builder for shop, product, cart and checkout templates of an online store, and custom code in HTML and CSS, JS and PHP when the visual tools aren't enough. Its 1.0 release added builder access via a role manager, Gutenberg compatibility and dynamic data support. Pre-built templates and design sets are included in every plan, and a third-party ecosystem of add-ons and integrations (Crocoblock's JetEngine and JetSmartFilters, or class-first CSS frameworks like ACSS) works with Bricks. Because Bricks is the theme itself, it replaces the classic theme-plus-page-builder plugin stack (a WordPress theme with Elementor or the Divi Builder, for example) instead of sitting on top of it. For buyers the draw was the lifetime license: one price for a WordPress builder on unlimited websites, not a yearly subscription.

The lifetime deal

Bricks has always been sold directly on bricksbuilder.io, not through marketplaces like AppSumo, and it launched in 2021 with lifetime-only pricing and an early-bird discount. The vendor's own forum announcements trace the price path. In November 2021 Bricks removed the 1,000-site cap for Ultimate holders, extending unlimited sites to existing Ultimate users, and announced that on January 10, 2022 the Starter lifetime plan (1 site) would rise from $59 to $79 and Ultimate (unlimited sites) from $149 to $199, adding that it would keep its lifetime plans "for now". In October 2022 it announced a further increase on November 11, 2022, Starter to $99 and Ultimate to $249, said it would continue to adjust prices and start introducing yearly subscriptions as it approached Bricks 2.0, and stated it never offers discounts on the lifetime deal. Bricks' pricing page later announced the Ultimate lifetime plan rising to $599 on January 15, 2024, with the lifetime Starter plan available only until that date. Today the lifetime option is a single Ultimate plan at $599, sold next to annual subscriptions. The register holds no verified report on how any of these changes affected existing lifetime holders.

Pricing

Bricks' current pricing page lists three yearly subscriptions, Starter (1 website) at $79/year, Business (3 websites) at $149/year and Agency (unlimited websites) at $249/year, and one Ultimate Lifetime plan at $599 one-time for unlimited websites. The vendor's FAQ says the lifetime license is truly lifetime, meaning all future updates and support. Against the Agency subscription, the lifetime plan pays for itself in roughly two and a half years, provided it keeps being honored. Licenses can be used on your own and client sites; local and staging sites don't count against the limit, while each live multisite subsite does. A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of its billing period, after which updates, support and community templates stop but sites stay editable. A 60-day money-back guarantee is advertised. Bricks' public price history shows the lifetime price has risen several times, and the current pricing page makes no promise about future lifetime price or availability, so confirm the live terms, what the plan includes and the refund window before you buy, and keep your receipt.

Signals to watch

What to watch, the way any lifetime deal breaks: the company stops honoring old license keys, so a lifetime license no longer activates or pulls updates; it caps or shrinks what a plan included, for example the unlimited-site allowance; features a lifetime plan was sold with move behind a new paid add-on or a yearly subscription; or the product is wound down or support for lifetime accounts goes unanswered. None is recorded on Bricks here today, because no verified report exists yet; they are simply the signals the register tracks, and the reason a buyer's confirmation, backed by receipts, counts for more than any announcement.

FAQ

Is the Bricks Builder lifetime deal still honored?

On this register, open. No buyer has yet verified, with receipts, that a Bricks lifetime license still activates, receives updates and gets support. Bricks' pricing FAQ says the lifetime license is truly lifetime, but a vendor's promise doesn't earn the seal, a verified buyer confirmation does. Hold a license? File the first one.

Is the Bricks Builder lifetime deal worth it?

If you build WordPress websites regularly, your own or client sites, a one-time $599 license on unlimited sites replaces the $249/year Agency subscription after about two and a half years. Weigh that against the learning curve, Bricks is a developer-leaning site builder rather than a beginner tool, and against the long-term risk every LTD carries.

Is Bricks a theme or a plugin?

A theme. Bricks installs as a WordPress theme and builds the whole site, header, footer, templates and pages, visually, instead of running as a page builder plugin on top of another theme.

What happens to my site if I stop paying for a Bricks subscription?

Per Bricks' pricing FAQ, a cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the billing period; after that, updates, support and community templates stop, but your WordPress site stays live and editable. Running outdated software carries security risks. The lifetime plan is meant to avoid this, which is why whether it keeps being honored matters.

How does Bricks compare with Elementor and Divi?

Elementor is a page builder plugin with a free version and yearly plans; Divi is a theme and builder from Elegant Themes. Bricks is a theme sold as yearly subscriptions or a one-time lifetime plan, marketed on speed, clean code and full control for developers rather than as a beginner-friendly tool. Which is the better alternative depends on your workflow; the register only tracks whether lifetime promises are kept.

Is the Bricks Builder lifetime deal legit or a scam?

The register takes no view on intent. Bricks is sold directly by its developer with a published refund window. The honoring risk is the long-term one: that terms shift years after purchase. Check the live pricing page, the refund window and what the plan includes, and keep your receipt.
